Приставка trans- передаёт три основных значения:

  Example: We transfer files.

• изменение
  Example: Heat transforms ice.
  Перевод: Тепло изменяет лёд.

Основная идея: движение или изменение.

trans- has three main meanings:

• "across" → movement from one place to another
• "through" → passing through something
• "change" → transformation or shift

Examples:

• We transfer data between devices.
